Panorama Web Designs is a web design business based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit our website or contact us about a project. Kevin Dusange, owner and privacy contact, is responsible for questions and requests about your information.
What we collect and why
Our enquiry form asks for your name, email, service of interest, and a message. You can also choose to provide your phone number, business name, and website. We use these details and any follow-up correspondence to answer your questions, prepare a proposal, and discuss or deliver the services you request. Please leave passwords, payment details, and other sensitive information out of the form.
Our hosting and form providers may also process technical information, such as your IP address, browser details, and request logs, to deliver the site, prevent spam, and investigate problems.
Your choices and consent
When you send an enquiry, you provide your information for us to respond and discuss that enquiry. This does not sign you up for a newsletter. We will ask for consent before using your information for a new purpose that requires it, unless the law permits or requires otherwise. You can contact us to withdraw consent, subject to legal restrictions and reasonable notice. We will explain if doing so means we cannot continue a requested service.
Service providers and sharing
We use Netlify for website hosting and form handling, and Google Gmail for email correspondence. These providers process information to support those services. Information may be stored or processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those countries. We do not sell your personal information. We limit sharing to what is needed to handle your request, provide our services, or meet legal requirements.
Website preferences
This website saves your light or dark mode preference in your browser's local storage under the key theme. You can remove it through your browser's site-data settings. We do not currently embed advertising pixels or visitor analytics scripts on this website. If we introduce tracking that requires consent, we will update this notice and obtain that consent before using it.
Keeping information safe and how long we keep it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and limit access to people and service providers who need it for the purposes described here. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We keep enquiry and project records only while needed for the request, our business relationship, or legal and business recordkeeping. When those reasons no longer apply, we securely delete or anonymize the information. Where BC's Personal Information Protection Act requires it, information used to make a decision that directly affects you is kept for at least one year so you have an opportunity to request access.
Access, corrections, and concerns
You can request access to your personal information, ask us to correct an error, or raise a privacy concern by emailing me at panoramawebdesigns@gmail.com. Please describe your request without sending identity documents or other sensitive information unless we arrange a secure way to do so. We may need to verify your identity before releasing records.
We will review your request and respond within the applicable legal time limits, explaining any permitted limits or extensions. If we cannot resolve a concern, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC).

This policy is informed by BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the OIPC's privacy guidance, including Developing a privacy policy under PIPA. We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised date above.
